IJMS (ISSN 1422-0067) is an open access journal providing an advanced forum for biochemistry, molecular biology, pathology and toxicology, chemistry, material science and molecular physics (biological physicals, chemical physics and physical chemistry), and is published monthly online by MDPI with a median APT (article publishing time from submission to publication) of 45 days.
IJMS is covered by leading indexing services, including PubMed (Medline), the Science Citation Index Expanded (Web of Science) and Chemical Abstracts. The most recent Impact Factor (IF) for the year 2016 is 3.226.
Swiss Biotech Association (SBA) was founded in March 1998. Today about 200 companies are member of the growing national industry association. SBA is the industry association for small and medium-sized enterprises that are active in all areas of biotechnology. It is also a highly resprected networking platform for multinational companies active in the sector. Activities of member companies span different sectors of biotechnology including (bio-) pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, agriculture, food, environmental biotechnology, nanotech, nutrition, cosmetics, marine-oriented research and specialty chemicals. The SBA partners with the Swiss life science clusters and manages Swiss Biotechâ„¢ - the global brand for the industry.
The purpose of BIOSTEC is to bring together researchers and practitioners, including engineers, biologists, health professionals and informatics/computer scientists, interested in both theoretical advances and applications of information systems, artificial intelligence, signal processing, electronics and other engineering tools in knowledge areas related to biology and medicine. BIOSTEC is composed of five co-located conferences, each specialized in a different knowledge area:

Scientific Journal of Biology (SJB) is an Open access quick-refereeing peer reviewed, online publishing journal which intends to publish scholarly and innovative papers in all aspects of biological sciences.
Biology is a natural science concerned with the study of living organisms and life and, including their structure, function, growth, evolution, distribution, identification and taxonomy. We are supporting all the scientists together from different areas to review knowledge and stimulate further research in biology and to encourage cross-fertilization of ideas across areas of specialization.
